Gentlemen,

Yes, it has been 5 years since the debacle at Starboard/North Beach.

A lot has happened in those 5 years, mostly we got married and made a bunch of girls, so this year is going to be a little different.

The primary event is a family friendly affair, I have already reserved a large pavilion at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware  (this is a really nice park due North of Rehoboth and Dewey) .  We will have the event catered, beer and wine available Delt style (in a trash can with ice) as well as bus transportation to and from the park (several trips throughout the day).  There is also parking available for those of you that cannot take your kids on the bus.  This event will start some time after noon and will end prior to dark (when the park closes).  This will leave plenty of time for folks to go to the beach or Starboard in the morning.

I do not want to hear any excuses about kids, this is purposefully an event for all of us to get together and see each other, to include kids.  I encourage you all to make a small family vacation out of it; there are great places to stay in Rehoboth as well as vacation home rentals for cheap that time of year. 

Do not let all the family talk discourage you drunkards, after drinking a few dozen beers at the Park, we will also have some kind of sanctioned event that evening at a bar.  This will NOT be open bar, but probably some discounted price with a cover charge and an area to ourselves.  This is still TBD.

Not sure on the price yet, but it will likely be somewhere between $50 and $100 per couple, this covers the park rental fee, the beer and wine, the catering, the bus service and a party favor.  Please respond promptly to this evite if you plan on attending so I can start to get an accurate head count for the bus and catering.  I have decided I am not blocking rooms because I think most of you will want to do your own thing anyway.
